Penn State LA to offer Exclusive Summer Program Scholarships for High School & College Students
Dear PSULA Members,
PSULA strives to provide amazing service, benefits, and opportunities to our members. We have done this in many different ways, however now we would like to do something that will benefit not just you, but also your children (or grandchildren).
“What are YOU doing this summer to prepare for the rest of your life?”
This year our chapter was introduced to an amazing foundation called LEAP. LEAP is an award-winning youth leadership and development program that delivers a one-of-a-kind experience for young adults (ages 15-24). The LEAP Foundation helps high school and college students, as well as recent graduates, get a “7 year LEAP on success.” The LEAP Team is committed to helping youths realize their full potential through a week-long annual summer program at UCLA. This year’s program will take place on July 30th – August 5th.
With the help of the nation’s top high school and college speakers, participants will uncover how goal-setting, effective communication, mentorships and several other simple techniques can be used to achieve great success at an early age.
LEAP achieves this through an entertaining and interactive program that is based on a 20 year history of proven success.
As a benefit to PSULA Members, we have arranged for a special LEAP discount. The fee to attend the program is normally $2,997, however LEAP is
offering PSULA Members an unpublicized $1,000 discount reducing the final tuition to
only $1,997 per student. Everything the participant needs including
lodging & food is incorporated into the cost of the program. This
offer is available for the family of PSULA Members (Children &
Grandchildren) until April 15th.

an added bonus, PSU-LA has arranged for 2 Scholarships to be awarded to
the children/ grandchildren of PSULA Members! These scholarships will cover the
deserving students’ tuition, room, board, and material during the 2012
